The information we gather through our Services falls into two categories: (1) (Personally Identifiable Information “PII”) information you voluntarily supply to us when you register, purchase subscriptions or initiate other transactions, participate in promotions or surveys, submit recipes, comments or questions or otherwise communicate with us or others through the Services, and (2) (Non Personal Identifiable Information “N-PII”) information collected automatically as you use our Services, including without limitation, information that may be collected through our mobile applications while they are in use or running in the background of your device. Drool will also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Drool does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.


You may register to use certain features of our Services. When you register, we may collect personally identifying information, including your name, postal address, email address, user name and password, reminder questions and answers and communications preferences, such as which newsletters you would like to receive. When you register for one of our Services, the information you provide may be added to Drool Media database so that you may be simultaneously registered for our other Services as well. We may also collect contact information for other individuals when you use the sharing and referral tools available within some of our Services to forward content or offers to your friends and associates. From time to time, we may offer contests, sweepstakes or other promotions. Participation in these promotions may require registration for our Services (see “Registration and Other Personally Identifying Information,” above). We may also automatically enter our users in some promotions. Cookies:   Cookies are very small files placed on your computer, and they allow us to count the number of visitors to our website and distinguish repeat visitors from new visitors. Web Beacons: “Web beacons” (also known as “clear gifs” and “pixel tags”) are small transparent graphic images that are often used in conjunction with cookies in order to further personalize our website  for  our  users  and  to  collect  a  limited  set  of  information  about  our  visitors.  We  may  also  use web beacons in email communications in order to understand the behavior of our customers. We do not link the web beacons to any PII.

Log  Files:  Any  time  you  visit  any  of  our  websites,  our  servers  automatically  gather  information  from  your  browser  (such  as  your  IP  addresses,  browser  type,  Internet  service  provider  (ISP),  referring/exit  pages,  platform  type,  date/time  stamp,  and  number  of  clicks)  to  analyze  trends,  administer  the  site,  prevent  fraud,  track  visitor  movement  in  the  aggregate,  and  gather  broad demographic  information.  For  example,  we  may  log  your  IP  address  for  system  administration  purposes. IP addresses are logged to track a user’s session. You  can  access  various  social  network  posting  and  sharing  tools  through  our  Services  that  are  operated by third parties, including a “share” button that allows you to post links to content and features that you believe will be of interest to others on your social network pages. These “Third Party Service Providers” perform functions on our behalf, like sending out and distributing our administrative and promotional emails. For example, we may share aggregated demographic information (which does not include any Personally Identifiable Information) with “Third Party Advertisers” or “Third Party Advertising Companies” and other parties as provided below: We use Third Party Advertising Companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. Any Personally Identifiable Information resides on a secure server  that  only  selected  personnel  and  contractors  have  access  to.  We  encrypt  certain  sensitive  information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your Personally Identifiable Information is safe as it is transmitted to us. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or  any  wireless  network  can  be  guaranteed  to  be  100%  secure.  As  a  result,  while  we  employ  commercially  reasonable  security  measures  to  protect  data  and  seek  to  partner  with  companies which  do  the  same,  we  cannot  guarantee  the  security  of  any  information  transmitted  to  or  from  the Website, and are not responsible for the actions of any third parties that may receive any such information. We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.
